About US - a Family Affair

We are forest explorers

Mostly of El Yunque rainforest in Puerto Rico.

We also explored Mona Island, Carite, Toro Negro rainforest, Vieques and many  beaches.

The founder Raul is a Mathematician trained in UCSD with a Masters. He worked in the Silicon Valley, but his 2nd home was the Grey Whale ranch near UCSC - with caves and all. He helped preserve the land and make it a park with his photography and publicity of the dangers of logging in UCSC.

There he developed a deep connection with the Taungpulu Kaba Aye Monastery or TKAM in Boulder Creek - Theravada Buddhism - in Boulder Creek - where he was an ordained monk under Taungpulu - from Burma. Thus, his interest in sharing images of Spiritual Masters and Buddhism. Greetings to all my friends in SC and SF and SD, and the monks in the Monastery.

In the US while living in SC California and studying Math at U CSD we explored Yosemite Park, Redwoods Park, Anza Borrego desert park, Wilder Ranch in Santa Cruz CA, Big Basin in Boulder Creek and Baja California - Mexico.

FORESTS ARE IN DANGER - WORLDWIDE:

For me - Raul-a Forest is HOME. It has the harmony we need so much.

PR has 3M people in a small 100x35 miles island - our forest may gradually disappear due to excessive urbanization. We intend to document our forest before they are gone.

This is a family project - Raul, Jose, Miguel, Gabi and Gloria. and of course, the dog Firo.

Our weapon is a Nikon D850.
