He lived and supported spiritually Mt Madonna.  Very many in the Santa Cruz region were deeply affected by his powerfull silence and stillnes - a silent yogi then for over 40 years. His joy, simplicity and knowledge (ayurveda \u0026amp; yoga) impressed everyone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo give an idea of his inner vision - once I had gone in the morning to meditate early in the caves in what is now the Wilder Ranch State Park - in the region next to UCSC, my 2nd home then. Then i went to the satsang with Babaji and sat close to him. In the QA period i asked a typical question about Enlightment...He quickly looked at me and replied (in the blackboard):\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e'Just by sitting in a cave you will not get Enlightment!'\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI was stunned - there was no way knew of my habits since i was in independent disciple.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnother time he was asked about meditation and Enlightment and he anwered:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e'It is like throwing a ball in the air - it comes down.
