This is the center print of the composition (bundle) named: View from Tres Picachos
The upper part of the picture is a leaf and branch of a Yagrumo Trail. This is before Maria - so it is an historic image! We see the Sierra palm forest all around. The other related prints (for a composition if desired) are the VIEWS from this peak!
This location is the end of the Mt Britton Spur trail - were a sign points to 3 options:
1-El Yunque trail (to the peak)
2-Tres Picachos also known as Los Picachos Trail and
3-A long way down via The El Yunque trail - that ends in the main road PR 191.

In order to get there, you need to walk about 2 miles up the El Yunque peak trail, which is rated as challenging - or the Mt Britton Trail to the end - then take the spur trail left side close to the entrance to the short Mt. Britton Peak & Tower trail - worth visiting too!. Then, at the end of Los Picachos trail, in order to get to the look-out point, you need to climb 60 steps.
From this eastern-most look-out area, you get a view El Yunque forest, of the northeast coast, the east coast, and (on a clear day) the islands beyond Fajardo. You also get great views of Yokahu Tower, the Mount Britton Tower, and the tower at El Yunque Peak.
If on a cloudy day you may wait until it clears... on rainy days better avoid.
Do not get out of the walled (wall is about 5 feet tall) peak - it is deadly a cliff way down.
